1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the BrightAudit Partners website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use our services.

2. Services Description

BrightAudit Partners provides professional financial audit services including but not limited to:

  • Financial statement audits and reviews
  • Internal control assessments
  • Compliance audits
  • Risk assessment services
  • Financial consulting and advisory services

3. Professional Standards

All audit services are conducted in accordance with Canadian Auditing Standards (CAS) and applicable professional guidelines. Our auditors maintain appropriate professional certifications and continuing education requirements.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete financial information
  • Granting reasonable access to records and personnel
  • Maintaining adequate internal controls
  • Timely payment of fees as agreed
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

5. Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client information and financial data. Our confidentiality obligations continue beyond the termination of our professional relationship, except where disclosure is required by law or professional standards.

6. Limitation of Liability

Our liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total fees paid for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

7. Independence and Objectivity

We maintain independence and objectivity in accordance with professional standards. We will not accept engagements where conflicts of interest exist that cannot be appropriately managed.

8. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in individual engagement letters. Generally, fees are due within 30 days of invoice date. Late payments may incur additional charges as specified in the engagement agreement.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of BrightAudit Partners and is protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement with appropriate notice as specified in the engagement letter. Upon termination, all confidentiality obligations remain in effect.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Toronto, Ontario.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and take effect immediately upon posting.
